Vitanovis - New Evangelistic Resource
Web Evangelism commentator Andrew Careaga writes: "After months of planning,
the organizers of VitaNovis recently unveiled their site. Designed to
present the gospel to young adults, specifically college students, the
site's creators describe it as 'a journey into understanding who God is, who
we are in relationship to Him and how we should relate to one another.' Well
designed, easily navigable and containing plenty of take-away value
(downloadable e-cards and wallpaper, audio clips, artwork and testimonies,
among other features), VitaNovis - Latin for "new life" - presents the
gospel through art, music and text. Among the collaborators on this site are
the Southern Baptist Convention's International Mission Board and North
American Mission Board, and Campus Crusade for Christ's Jesus Film Project."
Versions are being developed in other languages, and the site can also be
branded to suit specific needs.

Studies In Discipleship At Teaching Minds/Changing Hearts
Teaching Minds/Changing Hearts presents Biblical and philosophical
studies, which include systematic theology, religious pluralism,
doctrine and apologetics. Find student discipleship studies for high
school and college students and new believers in apologetics, basic
Christian doctrine, discipleship and evangelistic studies. Access
adult discipleship studies--small group studies on the character of
God, Bible book studies and more. Also find links for further
research in the areas of philosophy, apologetics, church history and
theology. TM/CH's motto: "Anyone who wishes to give the meaning of
Scripture without taking it from Scripture is the enemy of Scripture
(Augustine)."

Justsmile Ministries: Christian Advice And "Teen Talk" For Youth
JustSmile Ministries (JSM), birthed by Josue Sanchez, Canadian youth
pastor, offers Christian advice and tells teens, "You are safe here.
Search for advice. Share Jesus. There is hope." JSM invites teens to
participate in "teen talk" and exists to meet the needs of Christian and
non-Christian teens. An international team of four youth pastors provides
advice, along with volunteer Christian teens who serve as forum
moderators, content gatherers and writers. The site and forum, presented
in English, also has French and Spanish forums available. Topics include
dating, friendship, mental health, sexuality, spirituality and more. A
daily devotional, music resources, a teen poll and newsletter are also
available. Readers may also visit JustSmile Media, companion Web site that
introduces a ministry-oriented graphic and web design business.

Global Youth Ministry Report
Doing youth ministry outside the USA
or training youth workers globally? A new free service, "The Global
Youth Ministry Report" sends out an e-mail to find out what's working
globally in such areas as "Training Student Leadership," "Reaching Lost
Youth," or "Developing Indigenous Worship for Youth." Then, a writer
compiles this global wisdom and e-mails back a free report. In this
way, youth workers glean ideas from practitioners in various cultures
that may well work in their own setting. Finally, each report will be
archived at
http://www.reach-out.org in the "ARTICLES" section (Whew!
What a great site!) so that further input from readers can add to this
global I.Q. of youth ministry. Interested in this free wisdom exchange?
E-mail Steve, in cooperation with Reach Out Youth Solutions, at
smillero@mindspring.com .

I AM NEXT
Check carefully both the classy design and the wise
strategy for sharing the truth without being pushy or churchy. Note the way
there are many useful pages relating to young people's interests and needs.
Deliberately, not all have a spiritual component. See how the main page does
not 'look' Christian, yet hints at spirituality issues dealt with on the
site. If you think you may have teen visitors to your site - add a link. If
you have a church site and need a ready-made evangelistic teen section, this
is it. Just link to it in a narrow top frame:

Devos And Gutsy Acts: Email Helps For Teens To Live Their Faith
Teens
today face challenges when it comes to sharing their faith, and Youth for
Christ (YFC) wants to help by providing teens with practical ways to live
their faith and grow closer to God. Now through "Devos and Gutsy Acts," a

Web site, teens, ministry leaders and adults can also enjoy "Eva's Tips
and Tricks" for sharing one's faith and confronting issues; "Campus
Strategies" with advice on starting Bible study groups on campus; and
"Tough Questions," examining probing questions about Christianity. YFC

Dear friends
Further to fairly recent discussions on teen outreach, there are some more
interesting secular teen sites that could be a model for an outreach site,
listed at the UK Youthwork site list at:
http://www.youthwork.co.uk/websites/weblinks08.html
I just came across this low-key, technically very sophisticated site for
teens in several languages:

Straight Talk For Teens About Sexual Abstinence
Teen Straight Talk, based in Vienna, Ohio, invites teens, parents,
teachers and Christian leaders to visit a teen-focused Web site that
encourages sexual abstinence until marriage. With God's Word as its
foundation, teens can find stats and facts, "STDs at a Glance," a
true/false quiz, questions and answers, pertinent quotes, Christian links
and more. Read "A Single Person's Prayer," "Courting or Dating?", and
visit categories designed for men and women, as well as parents and
teachers. This Christian-based teen program, beginning in northeastern
Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, is now spreading to other states, mostly in
school settings, and will inform and encourage the teens in your home,
