PRAYER: 10/40 Window Prayer Group Resources

I'm looking for more information on unreached peoples prayer groups.
Currently, we are a group of several different churches meeting once a
week to pray particularly for the cities and people groups within the
10/40 window. Could you give me more information on groups that are also
doing this? And resources that are more current than 2000? I would like
our group to unite with the other groups that are doing this if possible.

There are a lot out there. Here are some ideas to get started:
- I hope you have already connected with Windows International Network and their Praying Through the Window initiatives that run every October <www.win1040.com>.
- Praying Through The Arabian Peninsula
www.pray-ap.info:This is a special prayer initiative for 2003. My friend Mert [ptap@srginc.org] is the contact point for the United States, and he may be able to connect you with other groups that have been praying for these Muslim countries. Usually there is a different prayer initiative each year for a different country, so keep your ears to the ground for future prayer initiatives like this.
- Wycliffe Bibleless Peoples project.
You could connect with Wycliffe Bible Translators' network that is praying for unreached people groups that don't have the Bible translated into their language yet <http://www.wycliffe.org/BPPP/home.htm>. - If you have a specific unreached people group or country you are praying for, try connecting with others through <www.strategicnetwork.org>, which has a separate forum for each of the 1700 major unreached people groups publicized by the AD2000 movement.
- The world Prayer Center in Colorado Springs has a virtual prayer team you could join at <www.worldprayerteam.org>.
- On the Mission Mobilizers Calendar, there is an entry from a prayer group in St. Louis; contact Aaron Taylor at 314-223-5381.
- You may also want to check into national prayer networks like Concerts of Prayer and even city-wide prayer networks; missions is usually not their exclusive focus, but it would be a good place to network with others that are already praying!

Strategic Network - Live the Call
VIRTUAL PRAYER FOR THE UNREACHED. Every Thursday night at 10pm EST, strategicnetwork.org and livethecall.com have been combining chat rooms to hold a prayer meeting for the unreached. They were praying for Turkey. Then, two weeks later they prayed for Afghanistan. The following week 20 people spent an hour praying for India. CMA Gold CD Rom Offer
Another tool to assist you in ministry is the newest version of CMA Gold CD Rom (Version 1) produced by Pastor Jim Turnbull of Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
