The Wedge of Truth
Does true science (science that is devoted to unbiased empirical investigation) point to, or away from, the reality of a Creator? Now, an InterVarsity Press Web site, The Wedge of Truth.com, features a new book by cultural critic Phillip E. Johnson (author of "Darwin on Trial") that delves into the issue. In his new book, Johnson "Wedges" apart two often overlapping and confusing definitions of science. Through this exploration, he shows that true science does indeed lead to the existence of a Creator. The Wedge of Truth Web site offers book excerpts, reader's comments, links to related Web sites and a RealVideo lecture by Johnson. Creation Science Evangelism exists to strengthen the faith of believers in Christ and to seriously challenge non-believers to reconsider their beliefs. Whether you would like to see how the wonders of science undeniably support the Bible, or if you would like to know whether or not science can credibly challenge your faith in evolution, CSE has something for you. One outreach of Creation Science Evangelism is Dr. Kent Hovind's Creation Seminar, now given by three speakers (including Dr. Hovind) around the country and even around the world! The creation seminar, along with debates, public school presentations, and their children's ministry are supplemented by their line of creation related materials, to help others get a greater understanding of the creation/evolution subject and to help them spread the word. (None of the materials produced by Creation Science Evangelism are copyrighted, so feel free to copy those and distribute them.)
